How to win more Games in Champions Tactics: part 1

Pro Tips #1: Make your Champions Collection as wide as possible

The reason why you want your Champions Collection as wide as possible in order to win more games in Champions Tactics, is that success in this game heavily relies on your flexibility and the options available to you. Naturally then you would want to have as many champions as possible from multiple Elements, Factions, Jobs etc. to offer yourself that freedom to counter everything your opponent tries to throw at you.

And I hear you: But i don’t have an infinite budget, what champions should I prioritize?

And we got you covered! Here is what you will want first:

1 Mystic/Light Druid/Light Shaman: This will allow you to heal and cleanse your entire team from opposing debuffs and Damage over Time effects. Especially effective against Necromancers. Note that the Shaman does not use Magic Power to Heal.

Key stats: Speed, HP, Magic Power

1 Paladin/Lord/Warden/Protector: These are the frontliners, their purpose is to allow the rest of your team to be covered and not take too much damage when they don’t need to.

Key Stats: HP, Speed, Armor, Damage output

1 Heavy Damage Dealer: Usually something like an Inquisitor, Sorcerer, Arcanist or even an Assassin or a Barbarian. This will allow you to constantly pressure your Opponent with incoming damage and pick up kills. Note that Fire and Chaos Damage dealers are usually stronger as their elements increase their damage output.

Key Stats: Damage Output, HP, Speed

That’s it for the pro tips #1. Hope this will help you the best educated choices in the marketplace and allow you to win more games in Ranked PvP of Champions Tactics.

Pro Tips #2: What are the best Jobs in Champions Tactics?

In Champions Tactics, each job has a role, but some roles you will need more often than others, there is no order! All these jobs are great to have !

PaladinTaunt: Allows you to redirect incoming attacks on you and protect your allies.HP, Speed, Armor

InquisitorAoE Damage and Purge: This is the perfect counter pick against Assassins or heavy boost oriented compositions.Speed, Magical Power, HP
NecromancerNecromancer is a very interesting Job, they are usually all-rounders with good HP and Damage while having a non-damaging spell that applies Damage over Time to the entire opposing team. This is the only Debuff that applies in AoE.HP, Speed, Damage
ScientistThe counterpart to the Arcanist, this one doesn’t pull the backline, it instead sends the opposing frontliner fly all the way to their Backline. Exposing the midliner and removing that annoying Tank that was sitting in your face with 110HP.Speed, Damage, HP
Warden The unmovable Frontliner, it roots himself and guarantees your opponent doesn’t mess with your positionning. Excellent Counterpick when you see your opponent trying to set up a snipe strategyHP, Armor, Speed
